Lockheed Martin (LM) is a customer focused, global enterprise principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture and integration of advanced technology systems, products, and services for government and commercial customers. Lockheed Martin operates in the same context as its customers and is deeply involved in solving the problems and meeting the demands and expectations of its customers. Moreover, it leads the way in showing customers new systems-based possibilities and opportunities. The Corporation’s core business areas are systems integration, aeronautics, space, technology services and global telecommunications. Lockheed Martin’s vision is to be the world’s best systems integrator in aerospace, defense and technology services; to be the company our nation and its allies trust most to integrate their largest, most complex, most important advanced technology systems. Our goal is to provide the best value to our customers, growth opportunities to our employees, and superior returns to our stockholders. Lockheed Martin had 1999 sales surpassing $25 billion and employs approximately 140,000 people. In July 1999 Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems won Peace Marble V Campaign- the Israeli Air Force procurement of additional 50 F-16s. The F-16, built by Lockheed Martin, is flown by 19 Air Forces worldwide and provides the cornerstone of the IAF defense force.
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth Engineering, currently uses the PolyAnalyst Pro data mining tool. PolyAnalyst Pro is being used for two critical, long-lead air-to-ground weapon delivery algorithm development efforts for the Peace Marble V (PMV) Program. Using this product provides LM Aero with a tool to develop corresponding algorithm capabilities to those developed for USAF products. This was necessary due to the non-releasability issues surrounding the Reagor-Lynn Methodology (RLM) technology existing in the USAF products.
