Beginning in PolyAnalyst version 6.0.920, you can now directly import one or more Microsoft PowerPoint files (PPT or PPTX) into PolyAnalyst. The Files Data Source node can now access PowerPoint files when scanning the contents of a folder for files. During import, PolyAnalyst automatically extracts the textual portions of the PowerPoint slides and stores the text as a separate document record in the imported dataset of files. This operation can be performed in conjunction with importing other types of files such as Microsoft Word documents and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
